It is clearly stated in the building fire protection design code that fire doors used for evacuation in crowded public places and auditoriums cannot have lower frames. Fire doors at public evacuation exits, such as subways, large shopping malls, auditoriums and other safety exits, fire doors at evacuation passages cannot have lower frames.
